Hotel in Mayfair London

Hi we are looking for a hotel in Mayfiar/Grosvenor Square area in London for Sat 10 November and wondered if anyone knew any good websites or hotels offering good deals.

Its only for 1 night but we need 3 rooms.

There are ones at Marble Arch that have good weekend offers, walkable to Mayfair, I think one is a Thistle/Guoman, may even appear on the lastminute.com secret hotels thingy.

The Cumberland? I've had some good lastminute.com deals for there. It's a really nice hotel, great location and the lobby is pretty spectacular. It's usually one of the 'top secret hotels' on lastminute.

Have you tried a website called activehotels.com? I have used them before for finding interesting hotels and they offer discounted hotel rooms - you book with the hotel and mention the offer.

Weekends are cheaper because the hotels are usually filled with business customers during the week and have empty beds at the weekends.

I know there are stacks of hotels around the Marble Arch, Bayswater Road area because I drive past them on my way to the A40.

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
PM me if you want a 4% discount code.

I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.

I'm looking for a room close to the shopping areas for 8th Dec.... so Oxford Street or along towards Marble Arch... I've stayed in Cumberland and it was very nice.... only cost £99 as a top secret but it looks full...

Willing to pay up to around £150

Any ideas or recommendations?!?
