Well done savingholmes :T
What was the craft item if you dont mind me asking?
Every year at the start of the growing season on the allotment, I think to myself there must be a way of me making a few pounds from the excess I grow but it never quite materialises :rotfl:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Argh. Apologies for those waiting for messages. I damaged my ankle ligaments last night playing football. Probably my body's way of telling me that I'm getting too old, and to give up playing!
So I'm now on crutches, and currently unable to put any weight on one foot. 2 days before we're due to go away for a short-break. Needless to say I'm in the bad books! Doesn't help that I'd taken today off work to spend time with my daughter, and have been laid up on the sofa all day.
£41.77 MB'ing from the last couple of days.0 -
Ouch Mike!! You dont do things by halves!!
No wonder you are in bad books lol
Dont worry about rushing with info......well for me anyway.......I can wait
Hope you arent on crutches for too long.
Had a lovely night tonight with my mam and dad, husband, brother and sister in law.
A treat from the parents, belated Christmas meal. :beer:Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
My better half is nagging me to go to A&E / Doctors.. I had the same injury, albeit different ankle about 10 years ago, so I knew as soon as I'd done it last night, what it was. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation....that's all the doctor would tell me to do anyway, so I don't need to be wasting their time. I'm hoping that within a couple of days I can start putting some weight on it.
Glad you enjoyed your meal - even nicer when it's somebody else's treat!
Savingholmes - that's fab about your craft item. I'm so jealous of the talent some people have with their crafts. I'd love to be able to make/sell things. I'm absolutely hopeless at anything like that though.0 -

I've torn ligaments in both feet/ankles and slipped down a step two years ago and thought I'd done the same again.
Eventually I went to the A&E, had it x-rayed and I had actually broken a piece of bone off. It took a while to mend and I had physio - so pleased I went to hospital in the end.

Morning
Hope the ankle is a bit better Mike. I understand why you don't want to go to hospital but I think Lynne is right and you should get it checked. Hope you will still manage to get away for your break£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

I'm struggling still. I seem to have had nothing but bad news recently. My brother is in hospital and waiting for some results. I'm trying not to worry until we know what's what but with everything else lately it's not easy. On a positive note OH and I are getting on better and have started counselling again. Not sure if we can sort things out as such a lot of horrible things have been said and done but at least we are trying.
I am out later with some girlfriends for a surprise birthday treat which will, I'm sure, be lovely and probably just what I need today.£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

Sorry to hear your bad news about your brother. I know how harrowing it is waiting for other people's medical results. Sending positive vibes and hugs to you all.
A treat with good friends sounds exactly what you need just now, shariann:j. Enjoy every minute of it:beer:
Great to hear that you and OH are getting on better at the moment. Lovely to hear you are trying to give things another go. Stick at it:T0 -
Now received £31.15 for books sent to WBB and CDs sent to Ziffit and MusicMagpie recently. I know I'd have made a lot more if I'd sold them elsewhere individually but they've been hanging around for so long I just needed to clear the space and my mind of the lot of them.
I didn't think I'd get anywhere near my target this month what with everything else that's been going on so I'm really chuffed how things have turned out:j. Still a few days to go with a survey cash redemption still in the pipeline but even if it doesn't arrive before month ends it will kick start March a little bit;)
Have a productive last few days everyone:beer:0 -
Afternoon everyone :hello:
Haven't been on lately so I've just had a quick skim through the posts and I'm sending hugs to everyone who is feeling down/has had bad news recently. Hope things get better soon.
My laptop broke early on this month, so although I have been making some extra £s it's been limited. Most my money comes from surveys and many of them are not compatible with a mobile/tablet. I've lost count of what I've made so far partly because it was on a spreadsheet on the laptop and partly because I couldn't be bothered starting it afresh either on my tablet or via traditional pen and paper!
Think I'll have to shell out for a laptop pretty soon because not only does it help with making the extra money, it's also my preferred device when studying my Open University course.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000
