    Morning all

Still feeling sorry for myself but at least I am off work this week. I have a big birthday on Wednesday (21 again!) but am finding it difficult to get enthusiastic about it.

I do have a few small bits to add but not sure where I got up to on here so will check and post in a mo

I kinda stopped celebrating birthday when DH got lazy about buying me a card and present. So now I deliberately only get him a small present and card. He moans on but I said I am treating you the way you treat me.

DS gets all excited and says are we going for dinner etc.

Get yourself out, have a lovey meal, treat yourself to something new. Make it special for you.
  • Hi, I have been super busy de-cluttering and yet still it looks chaos here.

Managed to raise funds so not all bad.

£2.84 amaz0n book sale (although to be honest I feel they sting you so much you virtually make nothing compared to what the customer pays for the item)
£60 withdrawn from paypal from eB@y sales (sent straight to cc again)

I have reached my months total £598.39 / £560 So I may as well aim higher and keep going... :T

I need a new dishwasher, tumble dryer and whirly gig - So I need to!

Today is a mega trip to the post office due to eB@y and I am taking a car load to the charity shop! I just don't have time (or storage space) to list all of it online! Makes me sad BUT it is going to a cancer charity and means that my sewing room can be used again... so I can get making things to raise funds / save us money... I think the declutter has made DH happy and my health will improve from the lighter work load.

Hope you're all having a great day today.

  • Hi all
Hope everyone is well. I think I may of been missed but no worries it happens.
    I wanted to do £5 a day.
    Pinecone £15 cashed out
    Quidco £37 cashed out.

Is overtime classed as making money or does it count as work?

Now getting my act together and selling lots of unwanted and outgrown clothes on Facebook gum tree and just need to list on ebay.

    Hi.

Sorry if you were missed. Lynn will add you.

Welcome and yes you can add overtime. It counts as second income.

  • Evening all. My better half talked me into phoning the doctors this morning. I've felt rubbish for a month now. Not poorly enough that I'd consider taking unpaid leave from work (no sick pay!) but generally achy, coughy, chest pains, loss of appetite etc. I hate wasting doctors time, would rather suffer in silence...but decided to phone for some advice at least. Glad I did, doctor called me in for an appointment this afternoon and confirmed I had a chest infection and prescribed a course of antibiotics to clear it up. In and out in less than 5 minutes, so didn't seem so guilty of being there in the end. Always think there's so many other people far worse off than to have doctors wasting their time on silly things. Hopefully that will perk me up a bit.

£47.28 made today from matched betting. On a good run at the moment, hope it continues!

Hope the antibiotics sort you out quickly Mike. I know what you mean about not wanting to bother the doctor though. Has the 'sneezing' pain improved?

I am out for the day today with a couple of friends and DD is taking me out for breakfast tomorrow and then I am going for dinner in the evening with family. So lots of food involved!

My DSs are a bit useless when it comes to birthdays unless they are reminded so might not get a card or anything from them!

Anyway have another £7.30 mb to add taking me to £135.73
