Mortgage with small CCJ please help

I am looking to move home but have a CCJ of £170 from an unpaid parking fine. I got the Ccj in April 15 as I was working abroad at the time I didn’t pay it off until June 15 (I now realise I should of attempted to get it set aside but was pretty naive and just paid it of as didn’t know I could do this). Other than my credit score is good. I have had a mortgage for over 10 years never one late payment. I am self employed contractor with 3 years books.
The missus has her heart set on a home but at the minute can only afford a 10% Deposit will I be able to service a half decent mortgage or am I going to need a minimum 15%.
Advice would be greatly appreciated, TIA

I'd keep saving for a bit and see a broker.0

Dont forget your credit score is only seen by you, your report is what lenders see.0

I think my credit report should be ok other than the ccj low use of credit cards loan for car fully paid off no late payment on current mortgage or bills0

Not a particularly helpful comment, but I fail to see how you could not have seen this coming. A CCJ does not magically appear, you would have received letters about the debt well before the court hearing and even then, you would have got notice of the court date itself. You were away for 2 months, I cannot believe that the process of getting the ticket to receiving a CCJ would happen in anything less than 6 months.0 -
No I was away for for close to 4 month I had got the the ticket from the previous Oct / nov and was told just to ignore them ticket, I then received the summons whilst away. Don’t see what this has to do with the questioned asked tho thanks0

Ah listening to the advice about parking tickets on internet forums. Its quite funny how many claiming to be experts and telling people on Pepipoo and even our own Parking Tickets & Fines board not to pay them are reluctant to put their own money where their mouths are and say that if they're wrong they'll pay your CCJ.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
