    [STRIKE] Benefit Dallas blush [/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Eyeshadow from Smashbox Full Exposure palette - S5. [/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Laura Geller Balance N Brighten[/STRIKE]

Sephora by OPI JUST A Little Dangerous
    L'Occitane Amber and Santal fragrance
Laura Mercier Grey Pearl Caviar stick

Finished the Balance N Brighten last night. Went out looking like an Umpa Lumpa but was only collecting Emma from the station. Have resumed using a No 7 Pressed Translucent powder and a workmate has commented that my face looks brighter today. Maybe I need to ditch BnB altogether.

The fragrance will be the next to be finished. I intend to repaint my nails over the weekend with the Sephora by OPI mini. Will keep using this and adding thinner until it loses its integrity or runs out.

The caviar stick will be with me for a while and I even can't see me finishing it by the end of this challenge.

VALM - I'm almost finished with a tube of Botanics Eye Cream, not sure if it's the same as yours, I find it basic but OK. I only use it at night and in the morning when I apply my normal moisturiser after rubbing it in I just take my fingers across my eye area with what is left on them, so I don't actually apply moisturiser there but they get a tiny bit. Going forward I am going to just try doing that rather than buying another eye cream.

    .

The one I have is nude coloured and looks like a concealer but has a very runny consistency. It applies nicely and I do see a difference at night when I apply it. Maybe I should have tried applying in the morning but I thought maybe it would be a faff as it's so runny and don't know how long I would have to wait to apply make up.

I have seen on QVSELL this morning someone selling a tube of Flora Mare eye cream for £5.00 posted and I'm going to get that. I have wanted to try something from this range for a while (the man who presents the range on QVC has a lovely French accent! - I know, I'm a sucker but at least I'm not buying direct from him).

redglitters/Kadison - I've used quite a few pots of the Elemis Skin Bliss capsules in the past and have noticed no benefits from them whatsoever, I agree they smell nice but for me that was it and I expect more for the  price. I like MOA Aphrodite Oil as a face oil, cheaper, very pleasant to use and no gimmicks.

TBH I've never used them for long enough or consistently enough to guage any benefits, I just love the smell and the way my skin feels when I apply them.

I do know I've not noticed my skin being any less well off than when I use my genefique though, and they're about the same price ;)

I knew I would need to buy deodorant this year but as many of you know I am trying to go natural/low waste so I have been looking around for an alternative to the conventional ones. I have half a can of Sure and half a Mitchum roll on left but decided to buy a crystal stick with just a string and a tiny hessian bag as packaging. It was £4.99 and should last over a year, it came on Saturday and I have tried it out everyday since and it is really good, I walk, run and cycle a lot and sometimes have too many layers on, I still got a bit tacky as is always the case regardless of what I use but absolutely no odour at all not even after running.

This is the one I got.

That's what sold me on the one I bought as it had been tested by body builders in a gym

  • Im in for feb too,

    Here is my PP list,

First 3 carried over from jan-

Hugo boss woman orange edp 75ml
Roger and gallet fig handcream 30ml
    Nuxe moisturiser 15ml
    Decleor night balm 2.5ml
    Lancome hydra zen moisturiser 15ml
    Estee lauder ANR 7ml
    Colab dry shampoo galactic 200ml
    Impulse bodyspray why not 75ml
Superdrug showergel lemon & teatree 250ml
Bourjois healthy mix foundation vanilla 30ml

Hope to have the perfume UU in the next couple of days, I cant believe how long it had been sitting on my dressing table 3-4 years! and I have managed to get through around 20mls or so in just two weeks of focusing on it so I am happy with that. The next dilemma will be which perfume to pick from the stash as a replacement, Ideally I would like to get down to having 5 or 6 perfumes that I really love in my collection. I have around 25 bottles at the moment! and that is after GA 6 a few weeks ago.
A good few of them are 30ml or 50ml sizes and are already opened so maybe I will tackle a couple of those next.

    One UU tonight:

REN Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask 10ml WNBA. This was okay but nothing startling. I'm glad it's finished.

    One sample UU this morning:

Paula's Choice Resist Advanced Replenishing Toner sample WMBA as a full size. This was nice and hydrating. I may get this next time I pick up a toner, but it's definitely more for winter than any other season. So nourishing.

I tried to use this last night but was getting hardly any product on the brush so considering it UU. it's not bad if I get a month out of each one now. Have about 26 mini bottles. Pulled another out at random. Think it is OPI Tine For A Napa,

ThE Sephora by OPI range is discontinued so I can't repurchase the colour Just a Little Dangerous. Not a fan of purple coloured nail lacquer anyway.

It feels good to finish a perfume. I will finish my bottle of L'Occitane Amber and Santal very soon. I think I'll then use a lighter fragrance for a while (LE no 9) and then switch back to My Burberry as that is half finished.

I have a lot of perfume, at one time it was over 40 bottles, it might be around 30 now. Apart from the 3/4 on my dressing table they are all sealed and packed away in a box so they won't come to any harm, I would ideally like to just have 2 bottles, one light daytime scent and a heavier scent. I do remember a time many years ago when I just had one bodyspray and no perfume at all.
