Best Slideshow software for Windows 10

I have my Mum's funeral next week and I want to create a slideshow of photos that I'll display at the wake. Can I get some recommendations of a half-decent (and free) slideshow maker software that'll run off a Windows 10 laptop. I've tried to use the built in Photo's app and Windows Photo Viewer but they don't really give you much control and also I can't seem to see where to set the slideshows to loop.
Thanks.
Thanks.

can't you just put all the images you want to use in one folder and use the built in win10 slideshow option?"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

I had to do a constantly running slideshow for the foyer of an event.
I used FastStone image viewer - free for non commercial
It looks busy with loads of complicated options when you load it but you simply select the folder with all the images in and then click #create#slideshow
Select 'random' transitions - set the duration for each slide - select 'loop' and then click 'create'
It creates a file that you can simply run on any lap top - I had a backup copy on a portable drive - all I needed was the file to know I was OK to run on any lap top as required.
I just checked and the file was 400Mb for a slide show of 190 pictures.
Hope this helps.0 -

The free IrfanView will do everything you need and more. Excellent program which I've used for years. Regularly updated to keep pace with Windows upgrades/updates.0

I am interested in the Irfan software.
I have a large Powerpoint composed of about 120 photographs. Each 'slide also has a caption on it and transitions to the next slide at different time intervals. Each section of slides also has a music track that plays.
I have tried to replicate this in Open Office but it won't play and I don't want to buy a new version of MS Office.
Would this do it.....

Microsoft Sway is perfect for this kind of thing, you just need to register a free account
