PPI and Littlewoods - advice please

Hi
I am after some advice please. I have had a littlewoods account for about 30 years and it does have PPI on it. My husband started the account originally and then he changed the name on it to me as I was using it more. The problem is that I did make a claim about 16 to 18 years ago when I was out of work. Does this mean that I can't now claim? He was never asked if he wanted it or needed it when he opened the Littlewoods account and we have never claimed the PPI back because we used it!
Thank you in advance
Heidi

You can complain about it if you have a reason. However, obviously the fact you claimed on it limits the mis sale reasons you might have.
The value of your claim will be deducted from any redress.0 -
You can hardly complain that the PPI was added without his knowledge or permission because you then went on to claim on the insurance. He was never asked if he wanted it or needed it when he opened the Littlewoods account and we have never claimed the PPI back because we used it!
As zx81 says, you are not precluded from complaint though.
Your mis-sale reasons will need to be far more robust and any redress awarded will obviously have the amount you claimed in the past deducted from it.0
