As of tonight, BTwifiwithFon has started hijacking my home wifi which I use with my android tablet. It did it quite suddenly, I was watching a show on iplayer when it crashed and then BTwifwithFON started continuously hijacking my home wifi feed. I go to settings and tell it to forget it and to use my home (VM) connection but it just resets it back to BT a few minutes later. I can tell it to forget BT but there seems to be no option to remove it completely. I have no idea how it got there as my neighbours are an elderly couple who do not have internet access of any sort.

Turn off Fon on your router.
Or ask your BT members community for a fix .0 -

Scroll down to find:Sync saved Wi-Fi networks to your Google Account
You can have your saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords sync across any Android device where you're signed in to your Google Account. This lets you connect automatically to your saved Wi-Fi networks on any device signed in to that account.
On your mobile device, open the Google Settings app.
Touch Networking.
Move the switch next to "Sync saved Wi-Fi networks" to On.
If you're signed in to more than one Google Account on your device, choose the account you want to sync.
Any changes that you make to your saved Wi-Fi networks — like adding or removing networks or changing passwords — will be saved on other Android devices signed in to that account. To turn this feature off, simply move the switch to Off.
Manually delete the offending network from all devices. Turn on Wi-Fi sync and see if it syncs correctly.
There are two outcomes to this:
It re-syncs and realises you're missing the offending network, then adds the offending network to all phones/devices.
It re-syncs and realises the synced/cloud copy of the Wi-Fi networks it has is out of date and "updates" by deleting the offending network from the sync networks.0 -
When the hi-jack takes place do you have to sign in to BT with Fon? I am a BT internet customer and can use Wi-Fi with fon (if I want) but every time I do use it I am prompted to sign in with my BT log-in details and password.0
