                    Hi all
I have a fairly healthy history and the only negative thing i see on my report (checkmyfile) is a CCJ i got lumbered with about 6 years ago when i was running a business.
However, it is coming off my file next month. My score is now 690, which i am told just a tad above the national average.
So, my question to the forum is to see if any one has any idea about what kind of change i can expect to see when the CCJ is gone. Just curious.
many thanks in advance.

Your score should drop a fair whack when the CCJ comes off, as it is a major change to your file.
Fortunately, the scores are meaningless and not used. Make sure you ignore them,
Lenders will obviously see you in a much more positive light.0

You could find your score goes down by 50 points at Experian, up 122 at Call Credit and up by 47 at Equifax, you get the idea the score is of no use, well in a way it is.
Lenders look st your credit history.0

            Many thanks guys.
So, when the CCJ gets removed from my file next month, do that mean that no prospective lenders will see it? Can they do any deep search to dig out this dirt from my past?
Or is it gone for good as if it never happened?0

Pay your bills on time and your "score" could go down like mine did.
Depend if you owed any potential future lenders any money, or if a future lender is another sector of a group of companies.
I had issues many years ago with a cahoot card, they got bought out by Santander, years later I opened a Santander account and thought nothing of the old troubles. Instead of a quick yes here is your account, its a can you pop in so we can check your paperwork.
They didnt mention past issues, but went over all the details closely. Had no issues opening the account though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
