UC Decision Makers

Hello, I am in receipt of UC and applied for the lcwra part just over 3 months ago. I filled out the form and was given a face to face assessment then it was cancelled as medical services sad they had enough info from my doctors. It’s now been sent back to the decision makers but they’ve had everything over a month and no one seems to know what’s happening. Is this normal and how long should the decision makers take?

Thank you :j

There's no timescales to any of these decisions, it all depends on the backlog in your area. You can ask for a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be. Good luck.

Requesting a copy of the report may also get it looked at by the DM. No guarantee, but it won't hurt either.
