Shaggy could you put me down for 16 days in April please.
Sadly today won't be af as have a prearranged meet up with old midwife friends. We are going to to T@rtle Bay, so 241 cocktails but as we are get there at 6.30 there will only be 30 mins left of the offer. So have promised myself the first one and free one, then Diet Coke.
Have a sunny day folks x

Cathybird - I would like to set a target for the year of 200 please. As you say I can always adjust it as that's better than disappearing (which I am very prone to doing when it isn't going well!)0 -
Happy birthday Glenda!
I hope you're ok Maggie.
I drank on Sunday, because I was bored. Didn't drink yesterday and definitely won't today so I'll call early and declare today 19/20 for March.
I'll have a think about my April target, might be a bit lower than March as I'm going away at the end of the month and there will be leaving parties!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
I’ve woken up today with a big black cloud above my head , feel very low ,, no alcohol,,, maybe it’s all le@ving my body after weekend abuse !?
My guess is yes, it was the after effect of a bit of a boozy weekend. In the end, I realised that I'd take some ibuprophen the morning after, feel tired all day, feel depressed in the evening and then very, very sluggish for a couple of days. I totally under-estimated the after-effects of binge-drinking and I'm pleased to say I don't miss that at all!Honey Bear, I'm not an expert but I don't reckon weight gain is all that quick - it's not overnight - I'm not sure how long it takes but the day to day fluctuations everyone gets are not really to do with what you ate the day before, or even the day before that, they're to do with water retention and other factors. That's my understanding.
I know you're right, Cathy Bird. It was just so lovely to see it fluctuating down so much! I wanted to build on that but sadly that didn't happen.
OH and I rarely go away mainly because neither of us particularly wants to any more, so our long weekend break was a big deal for us. I ate a lot of things I would have been wiser to avoid and am now feeling chubby again. I need to address portion sizes when I over-indulge, so that's another lesson learned.
I hope the trainings going well, and good luck with the marathon, Barny.
I hope you're beginning to feel more settled in the new house, Green Karen.

Morning all, 23/21 for me today please0

Happy birthday Glenda!!
Hope it's a good one.
Honey Bear, I think these things demand a lot of patience and it's just hard, and there aren't any obvious long-term answers either (or if there are, I haven't found them). I kind of gave up slightly on going by weight and instead go by the feel of my clothes - if they get tight and it's uncomfortable sitting down, I try to cut back. I doubt I will ever be stick-thin though.
Green Karen, I'll update your total on the challenge.0 -
Good morning everyone,
18 please Shaggy
