Honey Bear, I could be wrong, but do you think this could have anything to do with the fact that you don't post here as often as you used to? I find I need the daily reminder and my motivation recedes if I don't touch base with the thread (for instance, when I was on holiday last month). Hey but I could just be being selfish, I miss you posting every day!
It might Cathy Bird, but the real reason for not posting every day was that the links stopped working in my emails, so I had to make a conscious effort to post, whereas before it was easy. My email provider does some development work on an irregular basis and the system goes a bit strange for a few weeks or months and then settles back down again, but this was a particularly long disruption. As a result, fewer MSE posts; pure laziness on my part, although I have been very, very busy lately as well. Fortunately emails are back to normal and I've passed the huge bulge in activity, I think (and very much hope).
The ferry meal temptation was very real, and it's the first time it's happened in months and months and months - I can't remember the last time it happened, it was so long ago. I just don't think about it any more, to such an extent that I no longer even have an AF beer with my evening meal every day because I no longer need or want one, and rarely now have more than half a dozen in the fridge, whereas it used to be the full box of 15 (we've got a big fridge). I suppose it could have been because the ferry had run out of AF beer and I don't want a surgary drink, so if I'd had a glass of water it probably wouldn't have happened. That was my mistake, probably.Has to be better than being !!!!!! HB!:D:rotfl:
Seriously, if you thought your drinking was a problem for you. Then it's a problem. End of.
Very true, Maman!
You're absolutely right, and he was talking through his arris! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh I know there would have been reasons for not posting every day - what I was saying was that if I don't post every day (for whatever reason) my motivation not to drink goes down, as though it becomes somehow more distant and less real, and if this is also the effect with you then it may have been a factor in your sudden longing for your OH's wine. It's just a thought!0 -

What a display by Arsenal last night - it would drive you to drink......:cool:What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again.
