3/28 today please. Even though I've allowed myself a few days this month on which to consume, I have no notion at all for a drink. I opened the fridge when I got home last night to see what was needed and there's still 3 cans of beer in there since Xmas, my favourite brand too, and I just don't want one. Feels weird.


I think I'll go and take them out and put them in the drinks cupboard along with all the other neglected booze!


I've offered my services locally if anyone gets stuck, stranded, needs a tow or a jump start as we have two 4x4's and all the necessary kit, so there's another reason to stay sober.

I don't know about you fatrab but the fact that the beer isn't cold would put me off having it in a s*d it moment. One of the things that confirms my cutting down is that I've got bottles of white not in the fridge (been there since well before Christmas). I wouldn't waste them by drinking them warm so they're strictly for planned drinking days.

Yeah that's exactly my thinking. I haven't been tempted to drink them, but I definitely won't if they're at room temperature!

The volunteering thing is something I did before when I worked in an area that flooded a lot. Not had anyone take up my offer yet but the weather isn't too bad here. Hopefully we're over the worst of it

Hope you feel better today, I get them all the time. I have post nasal drip and regular sinus issues. I feel your pain!

fatrab, :T:T:T:T:T from me too on the offers to help, there's a few people that have had a difficult time of it in this weather and it's very goodhearted of you. The snow has melted a lot round here today but it's still flipping chilly!! The BBC says it will be warming up over the next week, at least a bit.
