    Can't quite believe it. I can't remember the last AFD before this so wasn't at all confident. Now looking forward to being sober in October :)

    Hi everyone, please may I join your supportive little band?
    I’ve been lurking during September and signed up to the Drinkaware app.

    Going from a totally out of control 12 u it’s most days of every week , eeek!, I managed to keep 21 AFD in September with a maximum of 14 units per week.

    Quite frankly I’ve surprised myself (and loved ones).
    Following your thread has helped and I feel ready to commit.

    So, can you mark me down for 20/31 AFD in October please.

    Managed a monthly total of 25/26 for Sept which is still ok but should've done better!


    2/2 weekend days


    Calling an early 2/5 School nights and 1/30 AFDs for today please Shaggy!!


    At slimming world on Saturday I'd lost another 4lbs and was shocked but delighted to receive slimmer of the week and slimmer of the month!!! 1st 5lbs lost in total!
    You can have results or excuses, but not both.
    Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

    Looking for big numbers in the AFD department in the next couple of months. I wasn't able to weigh myself for months but happily when I got on the scales at the weekend they said 9 stone 9 Llbs which is at the top end of an "just right" for my height....but I would still like to lose more....
    What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
