Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare

Hi,
So I have a question about childcare. My current employer does not offer any childcare vouchers, so my wife and I are on this Tax Free Childcare scheme (We pay 80% they (Govt.) pay 20%).
I have been offered a new job where childcare vouchers are offered but have just been told you can only get £243 worth before they are taxed. I cannot find it anywhere online that says you cannot use both. Under my reckoning could i get the maximum tax free allowance through my employers voucher scheme, then top up to rest of the amount using the tax free childcare scheme.
I realise this may sound unscrupulous but I genuinely cannot find the answer. Also its blinking irritating that you cant get voucher for your full monthly amount of childcare. As mine comes it and around £500, so it would be AMAZING if I could top up the remaining £200 and get the remaining £50 using tax free scheme off the millionaire that is Mr. Hammond.
If you could let me know that would be great!
Thanks

i would get into contact with your new employer and request in advance any childcare, i work at a big orgnaisation and their cut off is end feb due to way pay works as i rejoined mine due to little one being born. Im the same can only buy £243 of vouchers and our nursery bill is going to be £580 a month for just hte young one without childcare holiday costs for second but thats why i had to wait 6 years between them. Def check so you dont miss that deadline to joinCompetition Wins 2017: Humans Boxset : £25 Cheque, Lego Batman Goodies0
