HI, this is a general question really I have been dealing with the above company since 1st August 2017, I logged a PPI complaint, which they came back with account details and details that I did have insurance with them. I received a further letter on the 16th August 2017, saying that they weren't in a position to asses the claim or provide a final response due to the fact that the FCA were reviewing ("Plevin") , and that a decision was due later in the year. I wrote to them on the 10th October, 6th November, and the 18th January 2018, to which I have not received a reply. I emailed on the 9th January 2018 and 22nd January 2018, after telephoning them to try and get an update. All to no avail. The emails back state that they would respond within 5 working days by post, I have not had a reply to any of my correspondence. If you telephone them they will not give any details over the phone. When I spoke to them yesterday the 30th January 2018, they advised that the FCA have now published their ruling and that cases were being reviewed, when I asked how long that would take, they replied the company does not have a schedule.
Could someone please advise how to make contact with this company, or how to get a response from them.

They've said they are swamped with Plevin complaints and cannot put a timescale on dealing with yours.
You could now approach the Ombudsman if you feel they are deliberately dragging their feet, but that may just result in further delay.0
