When is best for RED SEA

we are looking at going to red sea. either oct half term 08 or Feb half term 09

we went to el gouna which is near hurghada at the end of feb/march and also went 2 weeks ago and i have to say it was much much warmer this time of year then it was in february
having said that it was still plenty warm enough to sunbathe in feb but the evenings u needed a jacket or cardi whereas a couple weeks ago we were still wearing shorts at 10pm

I've been Sharm in February and its hot enough for sunbathing, but the evenings are chilly.
Also, it gets dark at around 5.30-6pm.
Have also been to Sharm in May and it was roasting.Waddle you do eh?0 -
