Hi All,
I seem to have found something too good to be true, so thought I'd check in here for opinions...
I'm going to be driving in France for a week in March, so am planning to buy Europe breakdown cover. My car insurance company offered to add it to my policy - but pointed out that I can cancel within 14 days. There's no cancellation charge. I've checked the policy document. I then checked RAC as another example and the situation seems to be the same. Following the same line of reasoning I just checked insureandgo for my travel insurance, and, again, it seems I can take out a multi-trip annual policy & then cancel after 13 days (after I'm home from holiday) for a full refund.
Am I missing something obvious here? Is it right I'm able to get these things for nothing?
Thanks,
Adam

Yes your forgetting the cooling off period where you cannot claim and the fact you may have to pay in full if you do call them out.
And that you may only be able to do this once.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
