PPI Lloyds Loans between 1986 and 1991

Hi please could anyone offer advice with PPI claims from between 1986 and 1991. I have six loans during this time scale ,These are all Lloyds personal loans, I had raised a PPI complaint online with Lloyds directly. Lloyds had acted very efficiently in December 2017 advising that my last three loans the loans they say they only have on record did not carry ppi option.
They're correct these didn't have PPI however I do have 6 Lloyds loans that did with all the original paperwork including credit consumer agreement for each which actually states PPI opted in (ticked) and even states the premium fee's and loan amounts. I also have statements for some but not all of these loans.
Not discouraged that PPI complaints didn't appear to recognise my earlier loans with PPI, I applied for a full DSAR this arrived but also has no record of my earlier loans either .
My initial PPI complaint made in Nov-2017 was closed by Lloyds. I have opened a new one with the support of my paperwork unfortunately I'm not getting anywhere as Lloyds don't appear to recognise any of my loan numbers as they claim there too short and apparently I am not able according to Lloyds PPI complaints actually allowed to email evidence of the scanned agreements etc as they don't accept email. I am now going to post off the scanned agreements to Lloyds.
I also wondered should I complete individual complaint forms for each loan or shall I do this collectivity with all on one form.
Can anyone offer me any advice on this thanks for any help you can offer.

Lloyds Bank originals (as in not TSB) used sort codes and account numbers for the personal loans in that period. Plus, most Lloyds branches in that era only displayed 7 digits in the account and not the usual 8. You had to add a zero in front to bring it 8. The sort code would use the one issued by the original branch that held your current account.
Send them by post.and apparently I am not able according to Lloyds PPI complaints actually allowed to email evidence of the scanned agreements etc as they don't accept email.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. Dunstonh, thanks for your help you are absolutely correct all six account numbers have 7 digits, thats crazy it as simple as just adding a zero that's amazing how did the the PPI helpline not know this as I did offer the sort code as well. They have even sent me another letter advising they are unable to proceed last friday as account numbers aren't recognised.
I will do as you say and send them by post, do you think I should send these recorded delivery. Also would you advise me to complete one form collectively or individual forms per loan.0 -

I could be wrong but I believe it should be 1 set of forms per loan/complaint, send them which ever you like but keep a copy in case they get lost.0 -

Don't send them recorded delivery.
By doing that, you take them out of the process set up to deal with them while the postman find some poor sap to sign for them, and they'll end up falling down the back of a filing cabinet somewhere.0 -
Some banks insist upon this (even if the loans are a linked consolidation chain) while others will accept one complaint form referencing several loans.I could be wrong but I believe it should be 1 set of forms per loan/complaint,
So I'd fill out a complaint form for each of the loans, as it will likely save time in the long run.
Another vote here for NOT sending a complaint via Recorded Delivery.Deleted_User wrote: »Don't send them recorded delivery.
Just ask the Post Office for a free-of-charge receipt.0 -
