    Good Morning Diary,

Thought I had best show my face around these parts .

So here we are almost 2 weeks into the 6 weeks holidays!! I haven't felt so great so I haven't done too much.
The exciting news is that we are going away on holiday on Saturday with my Mum :D. She's paid for us to go and its really cheap where we are going so no need for much spending money.
The girls haven't got lots of clothes, swimwear etc but we will make do with what we have.

In other news the decree nisi has been posted off so just waiting on that coming back now with a court date I would imagine. Its all very daunting as I've never been through this before, but we seem to be doing ok muddling through!

All is well with the girls, they seem happy enough apart from the odd fight which I wouldn't expect anything less!!!

New relationship is going well too :D.

Think thats about all really. Hope all ok xx

enjoy the holiday MTG. I've really loved watching your journey this year. You just seem so happy. So lovely seeing a woman be so strong and take control of her own life. Your girls will thank you so much when they are women, that you gave them such a wonderful role model.

    Good Evening Diary,

    Happy New Year all :D.

Sooooo cannot believe it was August last time I posted in here. Well actually I can believe it as I hardly have any time to myself at all nowadays. Will try harder this year.

So all is well here and I'm feeling positive today so thought id nip on for a catch up and to update you all on where I am at.

Divorce - finally got the confirmation through on Tuesday that I am now divorced. Started the process in April so its not a quick process and ours was pretty straight forward.

House - the estate agents came round to take photos today. Hopefully it will be online tomorrow. Feeling ok about this as I've had plenty of time to get used to the idea.

Girls - are great. They could have been really tipped over the edge after what happened especially at their ages but they are really great and the 3 of us have a lovely relationship :D.
    DD2 will be 11 in 2 weeks :eek:. DD1 is 13 :eek::eek:!!

Ex - blows hot and cold dependent on if he feels like being awkward (cheek of it after what he did!). We keep each other at arms length which is probably for the best! He's currently onto GF no2 and moved in pretty much straight away. Never learns that one clearly !

Relationship - still going well and we experienced some lovely times together in 2019 :).

Money - the month is always too long for the budget but I am hoping to be so much better off once I move.

So I bought myself an apple watch with my birthday money from my parents. Pretty chuffed that I have closed all my rings for the past 2 days! Going to keep this up and lose a few lbs.

Yesterday was NSD1. Today I have spent £38.91 out of my £50 weekly grocery budget. Moved over £11.09 into my savings account and this is what I plan to do in the future to build up some extra funds.
3p transferred into my £365 in a year pot. This will be the third time I've tried to do this so lets see :rotfl:.

Meal plan for the next week:
Friday - DP taking me out as Friday night is out treat night with no kids
    Saturday - chicken kebabs
    Sunday - roast chicken
Monday - peri peri chicken, rice and roasted veg
Tuesday - chicken curry (leftover roast chicken)
    Wednesday - chilli and rice
Thursday - Jacket potatoes, cheese and beans

Think I've brought you all up to speed. Off to catch up with other diaries now xx

OMG MTG I was just thinking about you earlier wondering how you are. So lovely to hear from you and hear that you're doing so well :j

Sounds like you're well shot of your ex if he's on to GF2

Glad the girls are ok, kids are very adaptable, I know when my parents split up I just took it all in my stride.

    Please keep posting xx
