The only other alternative is to start a blog which a lot of people now do - its not MSE but at least you are only relying on yourself and the blog company?0

I keep a journal, (offline using OneNote) which is in itself helpful but I find it is the interaction with like minded folks on here that helps to provide inspiration, encouragement, advice and support.
Journal is basically having a conversation with myself, whereas on here there is feedbackBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I agree with US. I can update my diary, but it's the comments, advice and questions from other posters that stimulate me to reply and write more. It's the community that is precious, not just my ramblings. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Totally agree Hairy, I know I post carp on my diary but it's nice to get support even if its not always MSE related.0 -
Not another one - how very frustrating.
I'll add my voice to those hoping you carry on posting but understand just how irritating it must be. I do wonder what on earth the motivation behind these people is to spoil things that neither belong to them nor have any impact on them.
