Payment Protection Loan (Not required)

Hello forum,

Thank you for reading my thread. I have various credit card/personal loans, which I took out between 2006 and 2009 either online or face-to-face. I also have 2 hire purchases with Mercedes and BMW
I have checked the paperwork, which contains the words "Personal Loan Protection" or similar.

I never took out the protection, so the paperwork shows either "Not required" OR £0 OR "blank" next to the word "Personal Loan Protection".

Can I still file a PPI claim?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Yes you can. And they may well uphold your complaint to make their stats look better as a refund of zero premiums paid is zero pounds.
