Abbey cashback credit card

Does anyone know much about this credit card. Heard it is 5% cashback. Anymore details out there.

Basically, it gives you 5% cashback on purchases at merchants with a specific merchant code (ie. food supermarkets, but not M&S) until the end of January 2008.
Online applications are taking ages and some are getting lost in the sytem. Applying in a branch seems to be a better idea.
However, Abbey do have an unenviable reputation for poor customer service.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
