First off I'm quite clueless on this as you maybe able to tell.
After reading about plevin I lodged a claim via resolver on the 3 /12/17. I haven't heard a peep about it until an email today asking if I would like to close the case or send it to the ombudsman. I always thought that was last case scenario or is that what I do. Thanks in advance.

Go direct to Halifax, rather than messing around with third parties.
Resolver have probably lost your complaint down the back of the sofa.0 -
So, in other words, your complaint has been rejected.I haven't heard a peep about it until an email today asking if I would like to close the case or send it to the ombudsman.I always thought that was last case scenario or is that what I do.
Why have they rejected it?
Do you feel the rejection reason is wrong and do you have any evidence to counter it?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). That's an automated message sent by Resolver when there is no response from the recipient of the complaint.I haven't heard a peep about it until an email today asking if I would like to close the case or send it to the ombudsman.
I suggest you get in touch with the Bank in question and re-submit your complaint (directly) if they haven't received it.
Not in this case Dunston; the E-Mail is from Resolver, not the bank..So, in other words, your complaint has been rejected.0 -

Thanks for the replies. I got home today to find a letter off the Halifax to say they had viewed my case and say I’m not eligible for ppi. Nothing ventured nothing gained.0
