Ventilation versus heat loss.

So I'm getting new central heating installed in my property. I may rent for a short while.
I have a vent in my kitchen, then a vent in the wall between the kitchen and hall. On the other side of the hall there is a vent underneath the stairs.
As a result the kitchen is more difficult to heat, as is the hall. Its having a heat sink effect.
I don't want to lose the ventilation, I've had experience of a property with inadequate ventilation, and though it was incredibly efficient to heat it was prone to mold. A tenant may well be less likely to open windows, or close the bathroom/kitchen door when there's high levels of moisture in these rooms.
I'm considering larger rads for these two areas and feel that blocking vents, partially or fully, is a bad idea.
Thoughts appreciated.

I agree with you.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Likewise, I would agree.
We have an open fireplace, and although used in winter, I never block as it's good ventilation for the whole house. Yes it costs more you heat the place, but I consider it a good compromise.0
