Seller didn't pay enough postage (China?)

So for anyone who is waiting with baited breath to find out what it was it wasn't from China (although that parcel did arrive today).
It was a parcel which went missing in the hands of Amazon Shipping over 2 weeks ago. According to the tracking it was handed to the recipient... So how it ended up being delivered by the royal mail two weeks later is interesting.
I probably shouldn't have paid it but it wasn't until I left the delivery office that it registered what it was. Going to see what Amazon say but I can't see me getting a whole lot of sense out of them.
Likely mis delivered.
Recipient popped it in a post box.0 -

Which would be perfectly acceptable (think personally I'd have contacted Amazon) but it's a reasonable thing to do. It does suggest that the Amazon delivery driver did not in fact had it to any resident anywhere though... It could in theory have been handed over with a whole lot of other parcels I guess.
The Amazon rep I spoke to was very helpful though and told me to keep it and gave me credit to cover the extra postage. So I can't complain in that respect.0
