What insurance do I need

Hello there
Just reviewing our life insurance and I think we need more cover than we have but just wanted to clarify before I started to get some quotes.
We currently have a joint policy for life cover which is in line with our mortgage and the amount decreases as time goes on.
I am thinking we may also need critical cover and income protection?
We are in our 30's, married with 2 children, and are directors of our limited company (so self employed)
Any guidance would be gratefully received.
Thank you :-)

I am self employed under a limited company, and have life insurance and also critical illness and income protection. I am a single mum of 3 though, so my circumstances are different to yours. Can your partner bring enough income to cover you both if one of you became ill or lost your job? You might not need the cover if so.0

Thanks for your reply. Our roles are very different in the business but my husband deals with most of the sales side of things, so if anything did happen, it would be potentially difficult at this stage so its safer for us to look at all 3. Thank you for your help!0
