Anyone had success claiming back insurance payments?
I've just noticed I've two home and contents policies covering my house from the same bloody company!
I'm guessing it's been since our mortgage change a year or two ago as one has interested parties as our old mortgage company and the other one our current.

Let the insurer know you are dual insured and they will deal with and refund one of them (or half of each).
And take it as a lesson in controlling your finances. What else have you missed over the years.....I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). It should be easy to resolve but I hope you're not blaming the insurance company for this?
I used to deal with many a duplicate car insurance policy with the same insurer as people would take a cheaper policy out online and not cancel the renewal - assuming the admin team had all the time in the world to search for duplicates and then guess which was the live policy...0
