Do I have the right to reject my car?

Hi everyone
I bought a car last Thursday - 30k miles on the clock, full service history.
When I brought the car home, the interior light didn't work and the glove box was off its hinges, which are minor problems, but got me suspicious about the car.
The evening of picking it up, the car started jerking/jumping very noticeably, especially when the AC was on. This was 2 hours after taking the car home.
The following day, the car interior was all squeaky as well. The jerking problem has persisted - this is the 4th day of the car being in my possession and it's gotten so bad that I was scared the car was going to break down. I took the car to the dealer today. One of them drove the car and also felt the jerking. He said that it is likely due to 'engine misfiring'. This occurred just hours after I brought it home!!
It's now jerking even worse than before.
He said to bring the car in tomorrow to their garage to get the problem looked at. However, I think as this problem occurred just hours after taking it home, I do not want a repair. I want a full refund. Not to mention the squeakiness that's also annoying, Am I within my rights to demand this?
I paid £4800 on a debit card for the car outright.

First 30 days you can use your short term right to reject. Onus on you to prove any fault is inherent - given they seem to be accepting it then in theory no specific need to prove anything.
Trader could make a deduction for any mileage/wear and tear that you've added but sounds minimal, If anything
Make it clear you are rejecting it though unless they start repairing and argue that you asked for that0 -

I bought a corsa from a dealer and when i picked the car up and drove home it started to judder and misfire.I took it back the next day and the mechanic asked if i had washed the car.I said no why?There was water in all the spark plugs from when the car had been valeted just before i picked it up.The replaced spark plugs and fine since.0

Right to reject isn't absolute for a simple problem. Anything significant yes but if it just needs a spark plug replaced or something as simple as that then you will struggle to reject the car.
You bought a second hand car so you buy the fair wear and tear that goes with it, due diligence is essential when buying anything used.0 -
