Any loans with high interest rate?

Hello to everyone,
Does anyone know of any financial institutions that offer considerable sized loans to people with poor credit ratings?
All I can find so far are ones that'll offer a few hundred pounds, but I'm looking for £2000 at least, or much higher if possible.
I really don't care if the interest rate is rediculous either. I believe this would be inevitable. But just want to find a company that will actually loan the money to me.
I had one company call me some time ago, after they were passed my details by a comparison site I used, offering me £2000 but with an interest of around £2500. I turned it down and lost their number, but this is the sort of thing I require now.
Thanks in advance

Since you're such a bad credit risk, do you really need the money?0

stepchange and think about why you have such debts
borrow to pay off debts is just a vicious cycle"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Whats the money for ?
Maybe we could help.
Its your poor credit history that lenders can see and base the apr on that.
What bad marks do you have on your credit history ?
No high street lender will loan that much as they dont do loans so low, maybe overdraft with your bank might be an option but dont count on it.
You have 2 choices well 3 actually, go without the £2k loan, cut your spending so you can save what you need or get a second job to increase your income.0 -
Oh and whatever you do dont give your card / bank details to a loan broker website.0

How do you intend repaying the loan? Do you have a regular income?joewest439 wrote: »Hello to everyone,

You will when you're made skint by the repayments so any time anything happens at all you've no spare cash and need to get an expensive payday loan which leaves you with even less money.I had one company call me some time ago, after they were passed my details by a comparison site I used, offering me £2000 but with an interest of around £2500. Words fail me. How can anyone think that this is a reasonable thing to do? What happens when the next thing you need to get comes along? You can't afford it because you've paid twice as much for something than the price you paid for it. £2500 interest is £2500 less you have to buy something else that you desperately need in the future.
I notice you've not said what it is for. I can therefore assume that it isn't actually something you can't live without. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Presumably because OP has no intent on ever repaying the money back.....I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
