Mooli is a very smelly vegetable. I wouldn't even contemplate serving it raw, cooked is fine though.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Really? We love it in salads, it's like a giant radish and I've never noticied a smell (berfore or after eating :rolleyes: )0 -
I grate it and squeeze the water out before cooking - thereby extracting the smell and probably a fair bit of the taste too.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I have so far just sliced it raw and eaten it like normal radish on a salad - very nice, no complaints.
You know how some people can taste ear wax and some can't perhaps some smell mooli and some don't. For me, there's no smell, it smells just like a little red radish which don't smell of very much.0 -
i shove it in a stew in cubes like u would swede etc. also roasted it like potatoes
