Those are just unrealistic expectations. I've never seen anyone on Neobux earn that much, or even half of that.0

I signed up recently after seeing some articles about how it can be used to earn a steady flow of cash from the rented referrals system.2008 Wins: The Shapes - Get Your Learn On (CD), Free transport to and from a Christmas Party2009 Wins: Years Supply of Orbit Complete (144 packets), £50 of Odeon vouchers

KM - Just replying to you from the SB thread here, rather than cluttering the SB thread...
Ages since we've chatted on this thread, so hope you are doing well.
Are you still doing neobux? Did you go for one of the packages with neobux? Think you were taking about perhaps Emerald or Sapphire as an in between step, but could be wrong.
Neobux - Well, I'm still clicking for now, but have made the decision to give up on it. I was only just really getting enough back to extend my RR when they were expiring. Didn't really seem much point in me clicking every day (unless we were away) to not be getting anything back from it. Also, there didn't really seem any chance in me ever getting enough of a gap to think about starting to get more RR so really wasn't progressing. Also my golden membership is due for renewal in August and tbh with the few clicks we are getting these days didn't seem to be much chance in me being able to extend it by points as I'd done in the past. I was miles off the 30,000 when I made the decision - Think I'd about 7,000 points so I chose to spend those points on extending some of the RR that had better averages.
And when my golden membership ends in August by not renewing my RR, I should be left with 82RR; currently at 485RR (I've lost 15 since I made the decision that it wasn't worthwhile for me to continue endlessly).
Now though I need to make the decision as to which of the payment processors are best to use to get money out (neteller, Skrill or AirTM). I don't know about any of those so need to looks into it before deciding which to go with.
Hope others though are getting on better with neobux...0 -
Hi Gromit..........seems so long since we chatted on here. Nice to see you.
I understand completely why you are giving up on it. I often wonder myself why I keep aimlessly clicking and wondering if i will ever see any profit from it.
Its just become such an ingrained habit with me. Every morning.......click my orange ads.......add $1 to my golden pack pot and then try to keep the wolf from the door by extending as many as I can. So much for keeping them all extended for 240 days :rotfl:
I am extending for 60 days at the moment and can see me having to do some for 30 days as I dont seem to be able to keep on top of it.
Probably my own fault for trying to increase referrals too quickly.
I am tantalizingly close to 1000 refs. 970 to be precise.
I did go for diamond which has been good but I cant afford to renew when its due at the end of March. Will go for the cheaper option of sapphire.
Would be interested to hear what payment option you go for as I havent a clue which I will do when and if the time ever comes.
Is it not worth you just letting your worst refs go and go back down to 300 refs? Start back again slowly? Seems a shame after all this time but I understand if your hearts not in it any more.
What other sites are you doing? Swagbucks is still my main one and I'm not doing too badly on instagc.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Hi KM
Good to hear from you.
You are so close to 1000RR! But sounds so frustrating too, especially if you are finding just now you are only really able to extend for 60 days.
Just a thought, but if you are only extending for 60 days at the moment, would you not be better turning back on the auto-renew (if you haven't already done so). As I understood it, auto-renew worked out better if you were extending for less than 90 days; think at 90 days it was supposed to work out the same.
I had reached 500RR almost a year ago and back then had the intention of trying to build up at least 120days before any RR needed renewing before stepping into the 500-750RR zone, but all I've managed is to keep renewing the RR which I had with no money left to extend any of the others to buy that time window I was hoping for. Didn't see the point in stepping over the 500RR until I could realistically afford to extend RR as needed. And during the past few months there were a few occasions when although I'd been clicking I'd sort of forgotten exactly when I needed to extend and so lost a few RR, which I duly reinstated.
It wasn't until about a week ago that I made the decision to give up, though didn't seem much point in stopping immediately when I'd put the effort in to get to the 500RR. Unless something suddenly improved there was no way I was ever going to have enough points to renew my golden membership in August. Even ignoring points, I don't think I would have had enough funds to pay for Golden from neobux as like I'd said I'd found I was using all the neobux money simply to extend the RR I had when they needed renewing. So that would only have left the option of paying for it. Sure I could have used money from other places online, but I've more use for that money than ploughing it into something I felt I was now getting nowhere with.
And yeah, I could slim down my RR from the 500 to even say 250, but tbh I think I'd only be delaying the inevitable and be back with the same view next year when I'd once again be wondering about the whole point in it, especially if 1 year on things hadn't improved.
I am still clicking each day (and will do so when at home until my golden membership expires in August). Not sure that there would be much point in continuing to click after then and by then I'd also be down to 82RR, which wouldn't make much return on a basic membership.
Of course it is possible that loads of clicks returns (as we had for a good while) and should that happen then I guess I'd need to consider whether to give it all another go. Guess though it would depend on how many RR I had at that time should it happen and whether I thought it would be possible to get enough points for Golden.
For a while I did have 1 direct referral that was great at clicking, but nothing from them since October 2017. I reckon direct referrals would probably be the best way to get anywhere on neobux, but it's getting those direct referrals...
Anyway, will still be clicking for a bit, just winding it down gradually.
Trying to get back into the other sites which I do more (had been letting things go a bit recently, but need the money). And last year I'd tried for some actual part-time jobs, but to date haven't had any luck there, so trying to get back to making what money I can.
Obviously I do swagbucks, which seems to be relatively reliable to be able to get something back from.
I also do PopulusLive which although I find is one of the better paid can take ages to get up to the £50 for payout as surveys can be few and far between and then you can get several in a week. Can't complain about it though as it's a good rate for not a lot of work.
I also have a Prolific Academic account - need to start back to that as found some of the surveys you get there can be quite interesting and usually quite well paid. Negative with Prolific is that surveys get grabbed quickly so really you need to be there at the right time and click in straight away.
eDigitalResearch is somewhere else I also do work for, though can be huge gaps with nothing and also their surveys seem to be getting longer for the same money.
Not sure where else I can try. What's instagc that you mentioned? Is that worth trying?
Other thing I do online is comping, which obviously can have varying luck and so no guarantees of getting anything back from there, but as well to try.
Would love to be able to think of something I could make and sell to potentially set up a small business, but to date haven't got any ideas for something not already being done. Perhaps one day I'll have a brainwave...0 -
Its all complex isnt it Gromit?
I understand your predicament.
Thanks for reminding me about autopay but im not going to bother as once valentines day is out of the way (I have 75 need renewing on that day:eek:) Things should calm down a bit and I can go back to extending for longer.
My golden isnt due till Oct 20 but I still dont think I will have enough points if we dont get an increase in ads so need to factor that in at some point.
My buy referral button keeps popping up but know it would get me in a right pickle to buy any more at the moment. When I finally reach 1000......I really am going to stay there for as long as it takes to extend all for 240 days and only then start SLOWLY getting more.
Ill be here when Im claiming my pension still clicking away. :rotfl:
Did you have any joy about which payment processor to use? Would be so much simpler if they still did paypal.
Good luck with your job hunting.
Instagc is a site that is similar to swagbucks though initially its slow.
Once you get to 500 points......things pick up and if you have plenty of time on your hands ........it could be a better earner than swagbucks.
Will PM my referral if you fancy a go. If you sign up and PM me I can give you tips on how to get started.
Initially you can only cash out giftcards but once you reach a certain payment threshold you can cash out to pay pal.
Good luck with the comps as well. Have you won anything?Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Hi KM :hello:
Fingers crossed you've enough put by for valentine's day then. Wonder if they will do a promotion; that would help you out.
I'd still be clicking too if I'd Golden until October 2020, but the fact I was going to have to fork out to remain Golden was one of the things that caused me to decide it was time to give it up (gradually)
Payment processor - Have just been looking at that - In the end I've opted for Skrill. From what I could see Neteller and Skrill are owned by the same company and a lot of their fees, etc are the same. However saw something on Neteller site that said if you were going to want to withdraw to a bank account then you'd need to transfer to their sister site, Skrill. Seemed a bit of a faff to transfer to Neteller and then have to transfer to Skrill to get money to a bank account. AirTM I read somewhere, think on neobux forum saying that fees were higher - think perhaps they deduct money when you receive from neobux, though not 100% sure. Anyway, just didn't look as though it was the best option, which is why I'm trying Skrill.
So far, I've got a Skrill account and then requested payment from neobux, which seemed to be instant, so that's good. Now I've got about £30 sitting in my Skrill account. Did also read that you can use Skrill to pay for ebay purchases, so I may try that rather than linking my bank account. Will let you know how I get on...
Have just registered with instagc today using your link, so will see how I get on with that site.
Comping - Been doing that since a friend told me to give it a go, think that was about 8 years ago I got that bug. Haven't had any big wins recently, though did win some DVDs, candle, jigsaws in December. Was lucky a few years back - won an iphone 6+ and later that year won a couple of nights in a lovely hotel for myself, hubby and our daughter with money for food and travel, which was actually a bit more than we needed so used it for another couple of nights away. Think that year I may though have been spending a little more time in entering competitions and therefore would have had better chances. I'm a firm believer in the law of averages when it comes to comping, but equally you can go for ages without even a tiny win.
You should give it a go (if you've any time left).0
