A £1 Tilly tidied this morning and 23p interest from Funding Circle today, so have adjusted signature to show increase:D
Jobs for today:
Make sausage & mash for dinner
Take dog for long walk
Wrap dogs birthday present:D
Put away all clean laundry
Order DD Keyboard
Do ironing
Research where to go with voucher from xmas
Have a nice hot bubble bath
Get DS3 and DD all ready for school tomorrow
Print out homework for DD
Look for bargain for DS3 birthday (he wants a record player and vinyl)
Deal with the large pile of paperwork on my desk
Spent some of yesterday trying to find DS2 passport. It turns out he had it all the time :rotfl: He needs to renew it as he is off to South Korea in June/July for a few weeks on his own. I'm so jealous, although he did say 'come with me then Mum'. I wish!! I would go in a heartbeat if it was possible but 2/3 weeks travel is not feasible right now for numerous reasons. I shall make up for it when they have all moved out by bumming around Europe for six months:D:j:beer::TNovember NSD's - 70 -

Print out homework for DD - have already nagged her to email it to me for printing
Look for bargain for DS3 birthday (he wants a record player and vinyl) - shall be scouring eBay for the vinyl this morning
Deal with the large pile of paperwork on my desk - working my way though it as I type, could take a while
not too shabby so far:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
DS3 birthday present all bought and paid for. A Crossley Cruiser turntable in Apple Green £39.99. From HMV via Quidco, cashback tracked already. I have some bids on vinyl singles on eBay, some end today so I will see what happens:) He has good taste I think, his request was anything by The Beatles, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and UB40:D
Had a lovely bowl of leftover chilli for lunch with some cheese as have run out of rice. There is enough for my dinner tomorrow night (working 2-8pm) plus a portion for the freezer:j Kids have made themselves random sandwiches. I have no idea why DS3 put curry powder on his toast this morning  Must be an Autism thing. I decided it was better not to ask:D

Deal with the large pile of paperwork on my desk - working my way though it as I type, could take a while, have now thrown away all envelopes and rubbish: pile is now half the size :rotfl:
Now trying to find the motivation to get dressed and take the dog and DS3 out for a walk:ANovember NSD's - 70 -
Dog and DS3 walked and mum thoroughly knacker'd now:D Took a lovely stroll to the local park, then along the seafront:) Spent £1.25 on two ice creams, well deserved. Had a lovely chat with DS3 about where he would like to go on holiday. Macedonia apparently :rotfl:
Going to have a nice cuppa now and watch some Netflix - Altered Carbon:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
I plainly can't keep off my own thread today:D Loads of ideas running through my head!
So my target was to save £625 per month for 6 years. This plus interest should give me the £50k I will need (will probably get more but don't want to overestimate the interest). A mini challenge attached to this is to save another £25 per month x 12 (£300 per year) in extra savings. I am aiming on finding this from cashback and other worthy pursuits such as Tilly-tidying etc)
So far towards the £300 I have saved:
£2.46 in Tilly-tidies:D
£97.52 in tracked cashback
Total £99.98/£300 :T
Which I think is pretty good so far:D
I am not including the Funding Circle interest - which of course is already included to take the total up to £50k.
I expect to be TT around £15 per month (£150 for the remainder of the year) which would leave £50.02 to find between now and the end of the year :j A target which I find more than achievable:T I'm thinking that I have made this target way too easy for myself, in fact I may have to up it so it feels like a proper challenge:) I will have to think on this some more!
As February is a short month I am hoping to come in under budget for the second month running for my food budget. This is normally £450 per month (just food) to feed what is basically five adult appetites. Last month I managed to come in at under £400 for the month. It would be a real boon to be able to duplicate this for Feb.
Current spends are at £63.74. It may only be 4th, but we have enough food in bar a couple of fresh items, to feed us until at least midweek, when I will do another Tesco shop. I have some vouchers so this will be helpful:j
Petrol should be slightly lower this month as I will be working much closer to home. I need to fill the tank tomorrow and have a 10p off a litre voucher which will come in very handy:T
All in all should be a very productive month ahead. Sorry to anyone reading this brain dump, but sometimes its easier to get it all down on paper:DNovember NSD's - 70
