I had asked my doctor to provide letter, so I could have a home visit.
This was declined by pips.
The lady that interviewed, said that she would put on her computer, that I would have a home visit the next time when I applied. She even asked in the interview if I wanted to defer the interview, my husband was with me. I said please just get this over with.

I was on low dla rate just for care....now have enhanced for both care and motability.

I second that, there are good assessors, mine was too. there's confirmation bias in folk being more likely to post the bad experiences

Great news. I also agree there's nice assessors out there and i've never had a bad assessment report. People read all the bad stories and totally forget all the good ones are out there.

Got my decision letter today (took 8 weeks) and I have exactly the same outcome as last time - standard on both components and a 4 year award. The assessor was fair in my view, no complaints about the report at all.
Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............
