PPI First Plus/Elderbridge/Barclays

Hi,
I sent the letter template from MSE to First Plus last year, October time, and received a response in November from Elderbridge to say that they can confirm PPI is held on the account but as not sold by Elderbridge they have forwarded my concerns to Barclays.
It is now near the end of January and I've not heard anything else. Is this usual to take this long?

Hi Angie-pangie,

I would contact Barclays directly and raise your issue with them. My experience with them was good Even though I complained through resolver.

I'll resend the letter this time to Barclays and keep everything crossed they'll respond!

I would call them as well. They were very helpful with me and even gave me a number to call, a company that delt with all their policies. They gave me every detail I needed including policy ref and PPI figure and opening and closing dated of each policy.

What were the reasons you used for mis sell?, this is a win with these loans if you give the right reasons.

Only you know whether they sold it to you or not.

What are you talking about? Barclays sold the loan and they sold everyone's loans to Elderbridge, presumably to either cover up or release their risk portfolio or because they knew they had miss sold PPI included. So i am presuming you apply to Barclays not Elderbridge. so yes i know if they sold it to me, 'They' have now changed.
My question was have you had any response from Barclays, or Elderbridge since they posted this?

I wouldn't sit around waiting for an answer to that question either.
