ParkingEye PCN

Hello everyone,

Today I have received a PCN. A couple of days ago I was feeling sick and I went to my registered health centre hoping to find a doctor. I drove there and I've parked my car in the Health's Centre car park. Unfortunately, the centre was closed so I had to leave. I was never aware that they do not have an emergency doctor or something similar. Today I have received a PCN from their parking as I was "not authorized" to park there. Usually, when someone visits it they register their car with the reception every hour. But as it was closed, I couldn't do that. I've only been parked there no more than 10 minutes. I'm not sure what to do, as I find this unfair and I don't want to waste money. I was thinking about going to the them on Monday to ask them if they can cancel it or something.
Can someone advise me how to proceed? Thank you!:(

    Going to the Health Centre and insisting they cancel it is by far the best thing you can do at the moment.
    Explain what happened exactly as you have here.

    You would also be wise to edit your opening post to remove any clues to the driver's identity.
    There really is no place for the word 'I' when describing events on the day.
    It was the driver that parked the car and it was the keeper that received the PCN through the post.

    If getting the health centre to cancel it is your best option at this stage but if that fails, the newbies sticky at the top of this forum will show you how to proceed. PE are fairly straightforward to beat if you jump through the hoops.

    Thank you guys, I will try with the Health Centre tomorrow and let you know what happens, however, i can't seem to be able to modify my post, why? I am logged in but i don't have the edit button.
