Well done on getting your vaccine. Someone said to me today that getting a reaction is a sign you are fighting back against the virus, i.e. a good sign. Not nice for those who do react, though. All I got was a bit of an achy arm!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Another night of hardly any sleep, not foxes this times, my immune system decided to start partying at 11pm. I was fast asleep then woke up freezing cold and aching all over. Mr SA had to fetch me some paracetamol as my legs were too wobbly. I was so cold I had to put my dressing gown on top of the duvet and I was still shivering. Dropped off to sleep for about 30 minutes then was woken by a headache and sweating joining the party. And my arm hurts 😩 It’s a good job I’m working from home as there is no way I would’ve been able to travel. I feel absolutely dreadful 🤒 Just taking some more paracetamol with a coffee so I can have a shower when they kick in. On the plus side my immune system works 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Hope you feel better soon 👍5

Oh dear. Hope your side effects subside quickly. How has Mr SA been?5

Mr SA is fine so far. His immune system is only 7 years old though so his might be yet to kick in.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Sorry to hear you have had a reaction to the vaccine , it does say 1 in 3 people will get a reaction. Maybe report your reaction to the Coronavirus Yellow card scheme where they can keep track of reactions to the vaccine. Take it easy hopefully it only lasts a couple of days .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Hope you can take today off work to enable your body to rest fully.Take care4

Ah no! That's horrible.
If it helps, my DD reacted badly - off work, sleeping, vomiting, nausea - but it lasted less than a day. I think you just have to ride it out with the paracetamol, fluids, rest, the usual stuff. I really hope you are on the mend soon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
