So far so good, Mr SA declared the sausages from the meat pack the best he’s ever tasted.Must be losing the plot, when I went to the dentist earlier, I took DIL’s birthday card with me to post. Just noticed it’s still in my bag 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Woo hoo it's Friday 👏🎉 and another week has flown by. Can't believe this time next week it will be payday again.
Should be another quiet day both at work and at home, bliss. It will be NSD 9. Exercise will be PE with Joe, dog walking and 30 minutes on the treadmill. Cleaning is the spare room aka the gym. Tonight's dinner will probably be a stir fry for me, fish, chips and mushy peas for Mr SA.
I used to quite enjoy going to work on Fridays, the feeling was a lot different in the office, more relaxed. Friday lunchtimes often meant a trip to the pub for a long chat with one of my work friends - I miss that. In my old team we often had Fizz Friday where a few of us shared a bottle of bubbly. Looking forward to those times coming back at some stage.

Aaw I hope you'll be able to go back to Friday lunches in the pub with colleagues soon. That's the type or 'normal' activitiy that we used to take for granted and is now forbidden. What strange times we're living in. There is light at the end of the tunnel though.
Do you think you and Mr SA will get offered a vaccine soon? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I think I’ll get the vaccine before Mr SA even though I don’t have any health conditions as I’m 60, he’s 55. They’re doing over 65s locally now so expect I’ll be on the next tranche. Mr SA is now 7 years post transplant so not classed as vulnerable although if he got COVID it wouldn’t be good because of his lack of mobility making him more susceptible to pneumonia. I think he had covid last year and he was really poorly, he could hardly breathe.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Perhaps you could reinstate Fizz Friday? We'd never get away with it (alcohol ban) but actually it's an adaptable idea and would give people something social to look forward to.
DH had his vaccination yesterday - he's 58 and the consultant put him at moderate, not high, risk. I think it may be to do with how each area or GP is getting through their lists.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

The team I’m in now are mostly blokes so Fizz Friday wouldn’t go down well. They did invite me out for a drink with them one lunchtime and all they were talking about was real ale and sport 🥱 Never again. The pubs surrounding where I work are packed with colleagues most days of the week in normal times, not sure what that tells you 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
