Hi,
I've been recently introduced to Freegle and I wanted to share it as it has so far been a fantastic resource. I can't post a link as a new member but if you Google 'Freegle' you should find it easily.
My favourite freebie was a beautiful sofa. I was close to buying one on a credit agreement at a cost of £65 a month for 12 months. Instead, I got a really good quality sofa from an elderly couple for free. They were just as pleased to free up their garage space as I was to park myself on their lovely sofa. We even became pen pals when I moved away from the area!
Best wishes,
Sally
