I recently had a gift card to sell. I thought about eBay, then remembered all the hassle it can be if you end up selling to someone dodgy.
So I tried Zeek - not expecting much, actually.
It was a £120 gift card for a high street retailer. It sold within a week, and in another week I had £99 in my bank account.
It's worth losing £20 for the sake of a smooth transaction IMO.

Someone once told me about this amazing site called Google - it answers all sorts of questions!0

I was thinking of selling a gift card on Zeek. It's for in store use only. Do you have to pay fees? And do you only get paid when someone purchases the card?
Thanks0 -

Mine was for online use, so the transaction time is probably slower as you'll have to send the card to them.
If you go to 'sell your giftcard' on the site, type in the store and it'll show up whether or not it's accepted and whether it's in store or online, or both.
For example, if I had a £100 Debenhams card I'd get £88 if I wanted to swap it for Zeek credit (i.e you can buy another giftcard on their site), or swap for cash for £77.10. I think the money you get differs from store to store.
Technically, there's no fees - you just receive less than the giftcard is actually worth.
Yes, you only get paid when someone buys the card. I had no idea how long mine was going to be listed until someone bought it, but thought it was better than it just sitting in my purse!0
