Fitness First cancellation

I cancelled my Fitness first membership through my bank in November 2017. I had my membership for over 10 years so therefore the 12 month contract wouldn't apply. I obviously attending the gym from December onwards as I joined another one.
I received a letter in the post yesterday from credit link instructing me to pay fitness first for two months membership and costs (£118.90). I have had no contact from them beforehand just this letter.
Has anyone else had the same problem?? Please advise?
