Removals - silly question alert :)

Any idea how to pack a TV we no longer have the Box for any of the TV's we own and wondered how removals companies deal with this ..I know they are probably very use to it ...but just wondered to they cover them ?

  • They have padded blankets and things that go over them like an oversized sock.
  • I bought a tv removal box with padded inserts etc - £10 from Amazon. Brilliant. My stuff was being moved twice though

We wrapped it in a duvet and put it in the car.

We have a 46 inch flat. Our removals bubble shrink wrapped it, then in blankets. They packed it between soft furnishings in the van. Survived fine!

Wow. I know small living is in fashion but that’s amazing,
  • I think we just wedged ours in the van between boxes and cushions. Thought it's cheap and about 5 years old so if it had been broken during the move we'd have just bought a new one.
