O/S Daily Saturday 27th January 2018

This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!

As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or SLOW internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.

    Oh hey .

My Saturday could be going better.
My and my fiance had 2 arguments this morning . We're fine now but I just feel lonely today. We cuddled and kisses for a few times but not as much as usual.

He's been stuck on the ps4 or the computer or just watching tv. We did tidy a little together . Just feels like he's being distant.

We're usually close and laughing all the time but today just seems... like there's a mental wall in between us.

I'm about to make coffee and maybe go upstairs or bring my planning from work down to do.

I'm stuck in house and only colouring in to do or going on the big computer upstairs or playing games on my phone. I'm so bored.

I think you've got a bit lost in the thread mix-up today.

What you are experiencing today is called 'real life' honey. It is what 99.9% of life is made up of.
If you will take a word of advice from someone who has been there and seen it all over and over again, just relax and smile. Don't try to hold too tight, like sand it will all trickle out between your fingers and disappear. Hold everything loosely and take a big step backwards from time to time.
Enjoy the loving moments but they are like meringues, lovely for a treat but they don't constitute a daily diet.
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.

Oh yeah I did. Whoops wondered why it was quiet.
Thanks for that advice I'll try to not let it get to me.
