Post Office - We guarantee to beat your home insurance renewal price by at least £50

Has anyone actually used the Post Office "We guarantee to beat your home insurance renewal price by at least £50" offer?

My renewal quote is £168.

The Post Office want £361!

I don't mind spending £361 as long as I get £243 back as promised

Post office insurance isn't provided by the post office - it's a trading name of bisl (aka budget).

Check their reviews before you buy from them

(But if they offer to guarantee that saving they will stick to it (there will be ts + cs to the guarantee though!)

There is usually a "* subject to minimum premium" clause.

Bit late, but yes I did and they paid up. Was expecting a fight.

  • Worked a treat for me. Got a very cheap quote because of it. They had to refund me 50%.
