The problem was due to an incorrectly applied discount from the previous account and the amount is small but still - is it ethical business practice to do this? And aslso to offer credit instead of a refund when they backed down.

Would you like to give a bit more information in order to get some help?0

I put in an order from a popular organic box scheme company and got the invoice then another one later saying that a differennt amount was being charged (£2 more) When I said that the original invoice included a discount they said that the discount no longer applies to my account - it should have been removed and then they offered me credit.0

Seems reasonable - if you were or should have been aware of the terms of the original discount.
You need to tell us what actually happened.0 -
No terms that I could recall. It was just offered to get me to order again so I thought it was still applying. Last time I ordered was 2014.0

Company have issued a refund when I said I thought they may have acted illegally and also creditted my account to say sorry.0
