You should look at food bills. Butter a year ago 59p, this week same store £1.40. This is an extreme example but most items have gone up by an absolute minimum of 5%, milk by 9% (bet the farmers aren't getting that 9%). Most things that aren't headline items like milk have gone up by over 15%.0
