Gary Taylor trades as Blue Print Plans - he is an individual purporting to be an architect, however he is nothing of the sort.
He prepared drawings on our behalf which were laughed out by the planning office.
Drawings were 180 degrees out, red lines were missing, scale incorrect etc etc.
The access statement made little sense due to poor English , typos and incorrect facts.

The drawings were shown to another qualified architect who pointed out that the building shown could not possibly fit on the site for which it was intended and no planning office in the country would accept the position of the driveway as insufficient visibility was offered up and down the road. It was suggested that Gary Taylor was in fact a charlatan.

  • You really don't need to have two posts on the same thing.

  • Have you made an attempt to resolve the issue with Mr Taylor?
  • How did you choose your architect? how many did you speak to in advance of deciding to go with this one? (we sat down with 4 architects, checked feedback/reviews, spoke to people that had used them before and then selected)

You may also want to check the name of the firm that you state (I think you could be flaming the wrong firm! - which could cause issues)
  • Firstly you should remove your other thread. I am sure there are several Gary Taylors working as architects/planners who by your scattergun approach are being libeled by that post.

Secondly I couldn't find any company called Blue Print Plans. Can you be more specific - perhaps the region he is in? There are lots of companies called Blueprint xxxxx in the planning industry, and again your lack of accurate information could cause them undeserved loss of business.
  • I assume the OP is actually referring to Blueprint Architectural Services. That appears to be just a trading name, not a company.

I've had a rummage around their web site. Nowhere does it appear that they are actually claiming to be architects on that site.

Confusingly, there is a company registered with a name that is almost, but not quite, identical. But at a completely different address.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
  • Does this architect have real, 'proper' qualifications?
