What I am confused about is what constitutes confirmation of my legal ownership to my 1/3 share

Equally I have not been advised by anyone that I cannot access the property. in fact I am being asked by the solicitors to remove my own contents that are stored there so the house can be sold so this is all becoming very confusing and contradictory

You have no automatic right to access but since the solicitor is authorising it then it is OK. The transfer of legal ownbership will not happen until probate is granted and the property is transferred to the new owners. Then if you are a joint owner you do have certain rights over the property. However you say that the house is to be sold so presumeably you will just get you share of the proceeds less expenses ine due course. Hence the house will probably never be put into the theee owners names since there is no need for it.
