Holiday deposit insurance

Hi
There is a holiday I'd like to book via the BA.com sale before the sale concludes on 30th Jan. There is a deposit of £300 to secure the holiday . The issue I have is my work won't confirm my leave date until the first of March. Is there any insurance available where you can claim some of a deposit back in case I am unable to go.

You would probably need a cancel for any reason policy which is likely to be expensive and excesses may not be worth it0
