New saving account

I gave up smoking yesterday :j

Everyone is telling me to start a new savings account with the money I will be saving. I have my current account and a direct saver with A&L, and would be looking at putting £100 a month into a separate account.

My head is a bit frazzled due to lack of nicotene at the moment, can anyone suggest a good account for me?

Sign up for a regular saver account - if you close it before the end of the term (normally a year), you get next to nowt in interest - should be an incentive...

Quite a few paying over 7% http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/savings/bestbuys/regular-savings-accounts.aspx (A&L will probably have one as well - the link only lists those where you don't need a current account with the provider).

well done for packing in now keep it up.

I packed in three years ago with the help of patches .
take your time and dont think too far ahead work it in say three days at a time and treat each end as a beginning.

stick your money you save daily into a glass jar then you can see it grow until you bank it . Treat yourself to a meal/show first in 30 days as something to look forward to.
    good luck
